Club hosted 3rd annual picnic for the blind for the Blind and visually impaired in Transylvania County.Approx.30 Blind and Visually impaired and 35 Lions and spouses in attendance.Fund raisers consist of auctions and Bingo. Three annual memorial high school scholarships to be awarded in May, 2009. Club continues to provide eye examines and glasses for the needy.
